الاتحاد المصري للتأمين يستعد لاستضافة الملتقى الأفريقي الثامن والعشرين لإعادة التأمين لمنظمة التأمين الأفريقية تحت رعاية الهيئة العامة للرقابة المالية.

في إطار حرص سوق التأمين وإعادة التأمين المصري على تعزيز العلاقات المصرية الأفريقية وترسيخ مكانة مصر كدولة أفريقية رائدة في هذا القطاع الحيوي، يستضيف الاتحاد المصري للتأمين، تحت رعاية الهيئة العامة للرقابة المالية، الملتقى الأفريقي الثامن والعشرين لإعادة التأمين لمنظمة التأمين الأفريقية (AIO) في الفترة من 12 إلى 15 أكتوبر 2024 بفندق إنتركونتيننتال سيتي ستارز بالقاهرة.
ينعقد هذا الحدث المهم، في نسخته الثامنة والعشرين، تحت شعار ” التناغم: توحيد أسواق التأمين وإعادة التأمين الأفريقية من أجل مستقبل مستدام “، مؤكداً على أهمية الوحدة داخل صناعة التأمين وإعادة التأمين الأفريقية. ويسلط الضوء على الحاجة إلى خلق بيئة سوقية متماسكة ومتكاملة عبر مختلف البلدان الأفريقية، بهدف تعزيز قطاع التأمين وإعادة التأمين ليكون أكثر كفاءة ومرونة واستدامة مما يمكنه من تلبية احتياجات السكان والاقتصادات المتنامية في القارة بشكل أفضل.
وفي هذا السياق، أكد الأستاذ علاء الزهيري، رئيس الاتحاد المصري للتأمين ورئيس اللجنة المنظمة للحدث، على أهمية التعاون والتكامل بين شركات التأمين الأفريقية واكد على ان هذا الملتقى هو أحد المحركات الرئيسية لتطوير صناعة إعادة التأمين في أفريقيا وانه سيكون خطوة مهمة نحو بناء سوق تأمين أفريقي متعاون وقوي قادر على مواجهة التحديات المستقبلية. مؤكداً أن الدورة الحالية ستكون حدثاً بارزاً في قطاع التأمين الإقليمي. وأضاف الزهيري أن المشاركين سيستفيدون من الفرصة الفريدة التي يوفرها الملتقى لتبادل الخبرات وبناء شراكات جديدة. كما سيحصلون على تجربة غنية في القاهرة، التي تعد مركزاً تجارياً وسياحياً هاماً في المنطقة.
كما أعرب السيد جان بابتيست نتوكاميزينا، الأمين العام لمنظمة التأمين الأفريقية، عن سعادته بالدعم الذي يلقاه الملتقى من الهيئة العامة للرقابة المالية والاتحاد المصري للتأمين. وتوقع أن يساهم هذا الحدث في تعزيز التعاون بين أسواق التأمين الأفريقية وفتح آفاق جديدة للنمو. وأشار نتوكاميزينا إلى أن أجندة الملتقى تضم مجموعة متنوعة من الموضوعات الهامة، وستشهد مشاركة نخبة من الخبراء في مجال التأمين وإعادة التأمين وسيشمل الحدث أيضاً عقد سلسلة من الاجتماعات الخاصة بلجان منظمة التأمين الأفريقية، مما يساهم في تعزيز التعاون بين أعضاء المنظمة.
وتجدر بالإشارة بأن الاتحاد المصري للتأمين تأسس في جمهورية مصر العربية عام 1953 بموجب قرار وزير المالية والاقتصاد رقم(156) لسنة 1953و هو مؤسسة غير هادفة للربح وله شخصية اعتبارية مستقلة، ويضم في عضويته جميع شركات التأمين العاملة بالسوق المصري وعددها 40 شركة، ويهدف إلى العمل على رفع مستوى صناعة التأمين والمهن التأمينية المرتبطة بها وتحديثها وترسيخ مفاههيم وأعراف العمل التأميني الصحيح.
كما ان تأسست منظمة التأمين الأفريقية في عام 1972، وهي منظمة غيرحكومية معترف بها من قبل العديد من الحكومات الأفريقية، ووفقًا لاتفاقية المقر التي وقعتها حكومة الكاميرون مع المنظمة، تم إنشاء الأمانة الدائمة للمنظمة في هذا البلد. تضم 405 اعضاء، بما في ذلك شركات التأمين واعادة التأمين الأفريقية ،والاتحادات الوطنية والاقليمية للتأمين، والهيئات التنظيمية، ومؤسسات التأمين متناهي الصغر والشامل، وتمتد في59 دولة افريقية ودول اخرى خارج افريقيا. كما انشأت منظمة التأمين الافريقية كيانات مختلفة للمخاطر ورابطات لمساعدة اعضائها في ادارة المخاطر بفاعلية، تضم الان 11 كيان.

The INSURANCE FEDERATION OF EGYPT is preparing to host the 28th African Reinsurance Forum of the African Insurance Organisation, under the patronage of the Financial Regulatory Authority.
Within the framework of the Egyptian insurance and reinsurance market’s keenness to strengthen its relations with other African insurance markets and solidify Egypt’s position as a leading African country in this vital sector, the INSURANCE FEDERATION OF EGYPT, under the patronage of the Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) , is hosting the 28th African Reinsurance Forum organised by the African Insurance Organisation (AIO) from October 12 to 15, 2024, at the InterContinental City Stars Hotel in Cairo.
This significant event, in its 28th edition, is held under the theme “HARMONISATION: UNITING THE AFRICAN (RE) INSURANCE MARKETS FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE”, emphasizing the importance of unity within the African insurance and reinsurance industry. It highlights the need to create a cohesive and integrated market environment across different African countries, with the aim of fostering a more efficient, resilient, and sustainable insurance and reinsurance sector that can better meet the needs of the continent’s growing populations and economies.
In this context, Mr. Alaa El-Zoheiry, Chairman of the Insurance Federation of Egypt and President of the Local Organising Committee of the event, emphasized the importance of cooperation and integration among African insurance companies. He affirmed that this forum is one of the main drivers for developing the reinsurance industry in Africa and that it will be a significant step towards building a cooperative and strong African insurance market capable of facing future challenges. El-Zoheiry emphasized that this session will be a prominent event in the regional insurance sector. He ensured that the participants will have a unique opportunity to exchange experiences and build new partnerships. They will also have a rich experience in Cairo, a major commercial and tourist center in the region.
Mr. Jean Baptiste Ntukamazina, Secretary General of the African Insurance Organisation, expressed his appreciation to the support received by the forum from the Financial Regulatory Authority and the Insurance Federation of Egypt. He anticipated that this event would contribute to strengthening cooperation among African insurance markets and opening new horizons for growth. Ntukamazina noted that the forum’s agenda includes a variety of important topics and will see the participation of a unique group of experts in the field of insurance and reinsurance. The event will also include a series of meetings for the committees of the African Insurance Organisation, which will contribute to strengthening cooperation among the organization’s members.
Noteworthy that the Insurance Federation of Egypt was established in the Arab Republic of Egypt in 1953 by the Minister of Finance and Economy Decision No. (156) of 1953. It is a non-profit organisation with an independent legal personality, which includes all 40 insurance companies operating in the Egyptian market, and aims to work to raise the level of the insurance industry and related insurance professions and modernise them and establish the concepts and norms of correct insurance work.
The African Insurance Organisation, established in 1972, is a non-governmental organisation recognized by many African Governments. Following the headquarters agreement the Government of Cameroon signed with the organisation, the Permanent Secretariat of the AIO was setup in that country. It has 405 members, including African insurance and reinsurance, national and regional insurance federation, regulatory bodies, and micro-insurance and inclusive insurance institutions, spanning 59 African countries and other countries and overseas countries. The AIO has also created various risk pools and associations to assist its members in effectively managing risks, now comprising 11 bodies.

Dans le cadre de l’engagement du marché égyptien de l’assurance et de la réassurance à renforcer les relations égypto-africaines et à consolider la position de l’Égypte en tant que pays africain leader dans ce secteur vital, la FÉDÉRATION ÉGYPTIENNE DES ASSURANCES, sous le patronage de l’Autorité de Régulation Financière égyptienne (FRA), organise le 28ème Forum Africain de Réassurance de L’Organisation des Assurances Africaines (OAA), du 12 au 15 octobre 2024, à l’Hôtel InterContinental City Stars au Caire.
Cet événement majeur, dans sa 28ème édition, se déroule sous le thème « HARMONISATION : UNIFIER MARCHÉS AFRICAINS D’ASSURANCE ET DE RÉASSURANCE POUR UN FUTUR DURABLE », mettant en avant l’importance de l’unité au sein de l’industrie africaine de l’assurance et de la réassurance. Il souligne la nécessité de créer un environnement de marché cohésif et intégré à travers les différents pays africains, dans le but de favoriser un secteur d’assurance et de réassurance plus efficace, résilient et durable, capable de mieux répondre aux besoins croissants des populations et des économies du continent.
Dans ce contexte, M. Alaa El-Zoheiry, Président de la Fédération Égyptienne des Assurances et Président du Comité Local d’Organisation de l’événement, a souligné l’importance de la coopération et de l’intégration entre les compagnies d’assurance africaines. Il a affirmé que ce forum est l’un des principaux moteurs du développement de l’industrie de la réassurance en Afrique et qu’il constitue une étape significative vers la construction d’un marché de l’assurance africain coopératif et solide, capable de relever les défis futurs. El-Zoheiry a souligné que la session actuelle sera un événement marquant dans le secteur régional de l’assurance. Il a veillé à ce que les participants aient une occasion unique d’échanger des expériences et de nouer de nouveaux partenariats. Ils bénéficieront également d’une expérience enrichissante au Caire, un important centre commercial et touristique de la région.

Il convient de noter que la Fédération égyptienne des assurances a été créée en République arabe d’Égypte en 1953 par le ministre des Finances et de l’Économie dans sa décision n° (156) de 1953. Il s’agit d’une organisation à but non lucratif dotée d’une personnalité juridique indépendante, qui comprend les 40 compagnies d’assurance opérant sur le marché égyptien et vise à élever le niveau de l’industrie de l’assurance et des professions d’assurance connexes, à les moderniser et à établir les concepts et les normes d’un travail d’assurance correct.
L’Organisation Africaine des Assurances, créée en 1972, est une organisation non-gouvernementale reconnue par de nombreux gouvernements africains. À la suite de l’accord de siège que le gouvernement du Cameroun a signé avec l’organisation, le secrétariat permanent de l’OAA a été mis en place dans ce pays.
